This policy explains what information Kizen Sports Academy collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it simple: we only collect what we need to run our programs and support our mission, and we never sell your information.
Who we are
Kizen Sports Academy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit youth soccer program serving families in the North Metro of the Twin Cities, Minnesota (EIN 85-2848952). Questions about this policy can be sent to info@kizen.org.
What we collect
When you register a player. A parent or guardian gives us their name, email address, and phone number, and the player’s name, date of birth, and gender. We use this to place players in the right age group and to stay in touch with families.
When you book a first session. Booking through Calendly shares your name, email, and any details you enter with us so we can confirm your session.
When you donate. Donations are processed securely by Stripe. We receive your name, email, and gift amount so we can thank you and send a receipt. We never see or store your full card or bank details.
When you contact us. If you email us, we keep your message and contact details so we can reply.
When you visit the site. Like most websites, our site and hosting provider automatically record basic technical information, such as your browser type, device, and the pages you visit, and may use essential cookies to keep the site working.
How we use it
We use information to run our programs and keep players safe, share schedules and updates with families, process donations and send receipts, answer questions, improve our website, and meet our legal and tax obligations as a nonprofit.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the services that help us run Kizen, such as Stripe (donations), Calendly (session booking), Google (registration forms), and our website host, and only as needed for them to provide those services. We may also share information when required by law or to protect the safety of a player.
Children’s privacy
Our players are minors, so we collect information about them only from their parents or guardians. Our website is not designed for children to submit personal information. If we learn that a child has sent us information directly, we will delete it.
Photos and video
Families give consent for photos and video when they register. We use images to share Kizen’s work on our website and social media. You can opt out at any time by emailing info@kizen.org, and we will remove your child’s images promptly.
Keeping information safe
We limit access to personal information to the people who need it to run our programs, and we keep it only as long as we need it for our programs, records, and legal requirements. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you or your child, or ask us to stop contacting you. Email info@kizen.org and we’ll take care of it.

Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our programs change. When we do, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
